Tiered Tickets Information

Due to overwhelming demand in 2011 tickets for the Secret Garden Party 2012 are now being sold on a tiered system. A set number of tickets will be sold in each tier, gradually increasing in price. This approach, which operates at other events such as Burning Man, enables us to limit an increase in capacity. Tier one, two and three have already sold out so gardeners are encouraged to buy tickets now at Tier four prices. Tier Five tickets are also now available for sale for those who are happier to pay more for their ticket (and therefore freeing up the cheaper tickets for those on lower incomes).

There is also a deposit scheme in operation. This allows a reserved ticket for a deposit of £50 (or at £80 for the tier 5 tickets); the balance to be paid by June 13.

Information

If you are aged 13-17 you will only be granted admission to the festival if you are accompanied by a guardian who is aged 21+. Photo ID will be requested at the ticket gate from anyone who appears to be under 21 years of age.

There are a very limited amount of child tickets available; please book early to avoid disappointment.

The date of Secret Garden Party 2012 is subject to change.

Green Tax

The garden will once again be operating a £5 green tax on parties with 2 or more empty seats in their vehicle. This will be collected on the gate and contribute towards staffing and operating the carpark.

Green Gardener Pass

To say thank you to those who tread lightly on the garden path, everyone arriving on shuttle buses, coaches, bikes or in full cars will be given a 'Green Gardener Pass'. Treats for Green Gardeners will include the chance to enter a prize draw for tickets to 2013's party, discounts on merchandise and a great big thank you from the head gardeners.

If you are deaf or disabled and require a full time assistant to attend the festival with you, you will be able to purchase a ticket for your PA in advance. We do ask that only those people that would be unable to attend the festival without the full time assistance of someone take advantage of this scheme. We will send the relevant application form to those who tick the relevant registration box on the next page.

Terms and Conditions

Rights Of Admission Reserved. (R.O.A.R.)

All guests will be searched on entry to the event. Any items which the organisers deem may be used in an illegal or offensive manner will be confiscated.

No admission without a ticket.

No readmission without wristband and barcoded section of ticket (to be used as a pass out)

No independent sound systems

No illegal substances

No weapons

No barbeques or meth stoves: gas camping stoves only. No single camping gas to be larger than 300g

No Nitrous Oxide canisters or dispensers

No Glass

No professional film, video or audio recording equipment is allowed on site without prior permission. This includes all cameras with a detachable zoom lens. All car parks and gate areas are included.

No audio or video recording of any kind is permitted without prior permission.

No spray paint

No fireworks, flares or pyrotechnic devices

No sky lanterns of any kind

No animals (other than registered guide or hearing dog)

Limited alcohol may be brought onto the site on first entry only- 12 cans of beer / larger / cider OR 6 cans and 1 bottle of wine (decanted into a plastic container)- NO spirits / hard liquor.

Persons suspected or deemed to be carrying out illegal and/or offensive activities within the event site may be searched and/or evicted.

All visitors must be aware that this event takes place in an outdoor, rural location. Please bring appropriate footwear and clothing.

Participation in all activities on site is voluntary and is at your own risk.

Sound levels at this event may cause damage to hearing. Please bring ear defenders if you require them.

No stalls or market sales without permission of the organisers.

All attendees give permission for themselves to appear on both audio and visual recording.

Tickets may only be resold via The Ticket Trust. Resale of tickets elsewhere is prohibited.

Please respect the nature, glitter not litter!

Deposits

For the 3rd year, Secret Garden Party will be operating a deposit scheme. The deposit scheme will allow you to spread the payment of the ticket(s) over simple 2 instalments; you will have until the 13th of June 2012 (6 weeks before the festival) to pay your balance. The payment link for the balance payment will be in the confirmation email of the deposit order. All Secret Garden Party deposits are non-refundable; if you place a deposit and do not pay the balance of the order you will not get a refund.

Ticket Descriptions

Full Price Adult Tickets

You must be over 18, you will be asked to register each of your tickets to a named person. This will need to accurate & can be changed at any point up to 3 weeks before the event starts. If you loose your wrist band on site you must go back to the pedestrian gate immediately where your name will be registered (make sure you have ID)

Under 12 Tickets

Can only be bought with an adult ticket. All children must be registered with name, address, telephone number & name of guardian

Teen Tickets (13 - 17 years only)

You can only buy this ticket with an adult ticket & you must be accompanied by a guardian who is 21 or older.

Family Camping Pass

Family campers must have at least one child aged 16 or under in their group. A family camping pass will entitle you to 3 adult and unlimited children's 'family camping area' wristbands. These wristbands will be issued in exchange for the family camping pass on the gate. If a member of your group is arriving separately you should email info@secretgardenparty.com and request that their wristband is left at the Information Point in the North Arena for them to pick up on arrival

The privileges listed below will only be available to the group arriving with the ticket.

Priority Parking (show your family camping pass for a priority parking space)

A team of dedicated barrow boys and trolley dollies to help you transport camping equipment from your car to the family campsite (There may be a short waiting time during busy periods)

'Beat the Queue' - A dedicated ticketing lane for families at the main pedestrian gate

For friends / family members who wish to camp with a family camping pass holder, we allow an additional TWO standard wristband holders to upgrade, per family camping ticket. You must request these wristbands in advance of the festival. Please email info@secretgardenparty.com. These will be available to collect from the Information Point - NOT at the Pedestrian gate.

Everyone entering with a family camping pass must also be in possession of a festival ticket. Under 12's must be in possession of a child's ticket.

Camper Vans

We have limited camper van field space. Only ONE tent may be pitched with each vehicle - this should be pitched behind the vehicle. This year the camper van field will be within the festival site.

Please be aware that The Secret Garden Party does not tolerate illegal drug use. Anyone caught using or distributing illegal drugs will be severely reprimanded. Drug detection dogs will be working on the gates in order to stop any illegal drugs entering the site and police will be patrolling the festival site.

If you are driving to the Secret Garden Party PLEASE come with a full car. Help out fellow festivalgoers and do your bit for the environment by registering or requesting your journey on www.gocarshare.com. There will be more information about sustainability initiatives and travel to the festival (including coach travel) posted on the website soon.

Deaf & Disabled Access Information

Secret Garden Party is, in its very essence, an inclusive event. We are dedicated to making the Garden accessible to everyone and understand that everyone's access needs are individual.
If you have a disability, please register for access updates when you purchase your ticket by ticking the relevant box or check out this webpage for regular updates. Those of you who have already registered will be receiving an email shortly with all the current information.

Tickets for Carers

All deaf / disabled festivalgoers must purchase a standard full price ticket through the website in the normal way and a camper van ticket if applicable. Those who would be unable to attend the festival without a personal assistant (PA) can apply for a PA Ticket (Free). To qualify, the main ticket holder should be in receipt of the high rate mobility component or the middle to high rate care component of DLA. For an application form for a PA ticket please email our Access Co-ordinator: access@secretgardenparty.com Application forms and evidence of your DLA award must be returned to Seagh no later than 1st July 2012.

The Site

The festival site spreads across a beautiful, but undulating landscape. There are some metal temporary roads in place but the landscape can be difficult to traverse, especially if the weather is bad. Some areas, such as the pontoon and steep slopes may not be accessible in bad weather. Please take this into consideration and bring whatever equipment you can to make getting around easier
Please be aware that there is strobe lighting and flash photography at the Secret Garden Party.

Facilities

There will be a designated camping area close to the main arena.
Accessible toilets will be available throughout the site. Please bring a RADAR key if you have one.
Accessible showers will be available.
Wheelchair battery charging will be available.
Storage for medication will be available. Please place all medication in a container and label clearly with your name and contact phone number.

PLEASE KEEP OUR GARDEN TIDY. We will give you bin bags please use. Leave all packaging at home or in the shop you brought it from. If you are coming from Tesco's please leave the packaging there

CAMPING - When you leave your camping area please leave it clean.. You can collect bin bags from our Campsite Managers who are there to help you through out the weekend.
